Michelle Conques

Michelle Conques earliest inspiration in art came from her father, who became aware that she had talent and took her with him to art classes at Ohio State University when she was ten years old. Her mother encouraged her that same year by helping her to be recognized by a Walt Disney talent hunt. A continuing interest led her to major in Fine Arts at Ohio State University, Middle Tennessee State University, and the University of Tennessee. She also studies with Paul Zepelinsky, John Richardson, Charles Reid, David Lyle Millard, Emerson Burckhardt, and Gus Baker. She teaches special classes in advanced acrylic techniques at the Arts Council in the city. Her studio is in the antique village of Denham Springs, Louisiana.
