Camille Barnes

Camille Barnes was born and raised in New Orleans. Her earliest art influence came from the charm of the city and she was fascinated by the style and character of the antiques in her father and grandfather’s antique gallery. She studied at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts. In 1988, she moved to Dallas, Texas, and into the world of book illustrating. She returned to Louisiana and to doing fine art. She enjoys doing portraitures, and landscapes, her style is realism with hints of impressionism throughout. Her work has been shown on national television. She says “I feel I’ve been blessed with a special gift and it’s incredibly satisfying to know that I can use my talent to bring joy into the lives of others.”
